In-service Training


In-service Training: Dive into dynamic projects, collaborate with experienced professionals, and develop skills that will set you apart in the job market. Our Accelerating Conversation series brings you face-to-face with senior leaders to learn and network during your in-service training.

Applications should include a comprehensive CV, certified copies of matric certificate and ID document, full academic record (not credits obtained) as well as the letter from the institution confirming that Work Integrated Learning (WIL) is required to obtain qualification.

The selection process will include the criteria below:

  • Must have completed all Modules. 
  • Must not have done In-Service training at another company.
  • Must be willing and available to commit to a 12-month training period.
  • Must be a South African Citizen.

Higher Education Bursaries 2025


The bursary programme of Axalta Plascon (Pty) Ltd aims to attract exceptional young talent, who are financially disadvantaged and aged 18-35 to the industry and support the advancement of South African black males and females (as defined in the B-BBEE codes as seen below) who are financially disadvantaged. The bursary will provide for tuition fees, prescribed books, and equipment.

Bursaries for 2025 intake are awarded to the following disciplines

  • Chemistry
  • Finance
  • Supply Chain
  • Logistics -1st year to 4th Year

 

Application Criteria

For residents studying in Nelson Mandela Bay region only

Applicants must satisfy the following entry criteria before applying (Please note that failure to meet all requirements will result in the application not being considered)

Minimum requirements:

  • Studying towards above mentioned disciplines.
  • Equipment must be a requirement as part of qualification (letter from institution thereof to be submitted
  • All current/previous subjects/modules must have been passed
  • Full-time and/or Part-time students can apply, yearly subjects/objectives must be clear for part time studies
  • Applicants must be between the ages of 18-35.
  • Applicants must be South African citizens with a valid South African Identity document/card.
  • Applicants must not have another bursary with another third party/institution.
  • All bursaries awarded are subject to the condition that the applicant’s end of year results at university do not differ substantially from the results presented during the application process.
  • Higher Certificate studies must be on the 1 – 2 year programme
  • Undergraduate studies must be on the 3–4-year programme and not 4–5-year extended programme.
  • First t year first time students will apply with certified Grade 12 results.
  • First year students applying for their second year will apply with final first year results. Should final first year results not be available at the time of the application, mid-year first year results and matric results should be submitted.
  • Second year students applying for their third year will apply with second year results. Should final second year results not be available at the time of the application, mid-year second year results and final first year results should be submitted.
  • Third year students applying for their fourth year/ honours degree, will apply with final third year results. Should final third year results not be available at the time of application, mid-year third year results and final second year results should be submitted.

 

How to apply and application details: All required documents must be submitted to be eligible for a bursary:

  • A CV (maximum three pages) with direct contact details to be included in the CV, e.g. cell phone number and email address.
  • A motivation letter addressing current and future fields of study, including how you will contribute when you graduate and why should you receive financial support in this field.
  • Full certified matric results (1st year students only)
  • Full certified university academic records (2nd,3rd, and 4th year students only).
  • Affidavit of proof of non-benefitting from another bursary
  • Financial quote for course(s) /registration invoice including registration fee and down payments.
  • Statement of Account (2nd,3rd, and 4th year students only).

The final decision regarding the awarding of bursaries to short-listed applicants will only be made after receipt of a certified academic record showing 2024 results.
