Voltatex 8710
Voltatex® 8710 represents a class of thermoplastic bonding wire enamels without cresolic acid solvent. Voltatex 8710 bonding wire enamel can be applied to polyurethane base coats. Magnet wires coated with Voltatex 8710 as bond coat may be bonded by resistance heating, solvents or hot air. The minimum bonding temperature is 100 °C, but optimum bond strength requires a temperature above 140 °C. Combined with other Voltatex wire enamel products Voltatex 8710 as bond coat exceed the requirements and technical conditions of IEC 60317-35/36 and acc. ANSI/NEMA MW 131-C, MW 135-C and MW 136-C. Listed test results based on Axalta Coating Systems standards, following IEC standards 60851.
