Voltatex 8227
Magnet wires insulated with Voltatex® 8227 as topcoat combine high cut-through as well as heat shock and abrasion properties. Additional typical properties are their good chemical resistance, and transformer oil resistance acc. IEC 60851-4. Voltatex 8227 can be used as single coat and as topcoat for multi layers. Combined with other Voltatex wire enamel products Voltatex 8227 is usable for wires acc. ANSI/NEMA MW 35-A-C, MW 37-C, MW 73-A-C, MW 81-C, MW 102-A-C. Magnet wires coated with Voltatex 8227 as topcoat exceed the requirements and technical conditions of IEC 60317-13/22/25. Listed test results based on Axalta Coating Systems standards, following IEC standards 60851.
