Voltatex 7740
Voltatex® 7740 is a nano-modified enamel, based on a new inorganic-organic hybrid polymer. Magnet wires insulated with Voltatex 7740 have outstanding resistance to partial discharges as they occur e.g. in inverter fed motors. They combine this special property with high thermal rating with excellent mechanical properties. In order to achieve increased resistance to chemicals, an application combined with polyamideimide based topcoat (e.g. Voltatex 81.., Voltatex 82.., Voltatex 83.. or Voltatex 85..) is needed. Magnet wires coated with Voltatex 7740 exceed the requirements and technical conditions of IEC 60317-8 and acc. ANSI/NEMA MW 30-C, MW 72-C and MW 74-C. Combined with other Voltatex wire enamel products Voltatex 7740 is usable for wires acc. ANSI/NEMA MW 35-C, MW 73-C, MW 76-A-C, MW 102-A-C. Listed test results based on Axalta Coating Systems standards, following IEC standards 60851.
