Voltatex 7340 AX
Magnet wires insulated with Voltatex® 7340 AX combine a high degree of thermal rating with excellent mechanical properties. Additional typical properties are good chemical resistance, a high level of flexibility, transformer oil resistance acc. IEC 60851-4 and Danfoss approval for use in hermetic compressors. In order to achieve increased resistance to chemicals, an application combined with polyamideimide based topcoat (e.g. Voltatex 81.., Voltatex 82.., Voltatex 83.. or Voltatex 85..) is needed. Magnet wires coated with Voltatex 7340 AX exceed the requirements and technical conditions of IEC 60317-8 and acc. ANSI/NEMA MW 30-C, MW 72-C and MW 74-C. Combined with other Voltatex wire enamel products Voltatex 7340 AX is usable for wires acc. ANSI/NEMA MW 35-C, MW 73-C, MW 76-A-C, MW 102-A-C. Listed test results based on Axalta Coating Systems standards, following IEC standards 60851.
