CCI 250
Corroless™ CCI 250 is a concentrated water-borne, vapour phase corrosion inhibitor (VCI), developed for interior use on steel, providing up to 2 years protection. Its primary use is as a hydrotest additive in the offshore industry. It protects by both contact and vapour phase inhibition, so it provides anticorrosive protection both above and below the water line of hydrotest fluid. Corroless™ CCI 250 can be discharged into the marine environment (subject to normal legislative restrictions) and has been accepted onto the ‘List for Approved Products suitable for use by the North Sea Oil and Gas Industry’. Other applications include steel coils and stacks, steel components, pump and valve internals, enclosed cooling water systems and radiators. It can be applied by brushing, spraying, dipping, flooding or fogging.
