Basel, Switzerland – October 15, 2018: Axalta, a leading global supplier of liquid and powder coatings, has been awarded the 14^th annual Tell Award – named after William Tell, the national Swiss folk hero – for its substantial and innovative investments in Basel, Switzerland. The award was presented by Giorgio Pompilio, Acting Consul General for Switzerland in New York, to Robert Ferris, Axalta’s Vice President for Corporate Affairs, in a ceremony at the Swiss residence in New York, USA, on 11 October, 2018.

On 1 July 2016, Axalta opened its headquarters for the Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) region in Basel, with the aim to place the EMEA headquarters in a central location that truly reflects the regional and international direction of the company.
