Houston, TX – September 13, 2017: Axalta Coating Systems (NYSE: AXTA) is pleased to introduce its latest addition to the corrosion resistant internal pipe coatings line from the Nap-Gard® Functional Coatings collection.  Nap-Gard 7-0015 Tan Internal FBE is a thermosetting epoxy powder designed to pass the Saudi Aramco 09-SAMSS-091 (2011) specification.

Today's environments explored by oil and gas operators have higher temperatures and concentrations of H₂S, CO₂ and other gas contaminants. These conditions require the use of significantly more expensive metal chrome alloys to avoid corrosion and failure. Axalta’s new generation of pipe coatings provide a cost-effective alternative to protecting the internal diameter of pipelines. Nap-Gard 7-0015 delivers high adhesion properties to effectively protect pipelines subject to H₂S, CO2 and CH₄ exposure.
