Welwyn Garden City, Herts – 10 July 2019 – Axalta, a leading global supplier of liquid and powder coatings, has today announced the appointment of Farrell Dolan as Regional Refinish Business Director UK & Scandinavia and Managing Director Axalta UK Limited, effective from 1 June 2019.

Dolan joins Axalta from Bridgestone Corporation where he ran the car tyre business for Northern Europe for five years. Before that, he spent 12 years working in the OEM aftersales sector for Peugeot Citroen and Scania trucks, and also worked as Retail Director at Goodyear for the UK and Ireland for eight years. With an extensive background in sales, marketing, commercial, operations and general management, he has a strong understanding of the challenges faced by a multi-segment business like Axalta as well as an impressive track record of driving business growth and performance.

Dolan replaces Mike Davis who is leaving Axalta after more than 31 years where he has held commercial, business and customer-facing leadership positions in the transportation and refinish businesses.
